The Placement Cell of the KSRDPR University has been set up with an objective of securing students future by providing and creating opportunity to find suitable jobs for inclusive growth of the social development through various mechanisms. Thus theobjective of the cell is to create valuefor it in the minds of the students by acting as committed and dedicated entityin the process of rural development. The Placement Cell is active in assisting the outgoing students to place themselves in government organisations, NGO’s and other rural based multinationals to serve and contribute to national development, with a focus on rural society. In order to strengthen the efficiency in them so that they become successful professionals in the dynamic competitive world, the University is imparting necessary knowledge and skills.

The students registered with the Placement Cell will be provided training for improvising their skills, counselling andplacement assistance, for suitable job placementsor self entrepreneurship.

Keeping in view, the vision of KSRDPRU, the Placement Cell is committed to improve the skill sets of students in the University through conduct of orientation and skill training, and resolving various issues in choosing the right career.

2. To motivate students to develop technical, desired soft skills in terms of career planning and goal setting.
3. To develop and motivate students for higher studies and guiding them to take competitive exams.
4. Aiming to make students self employable.
5. To place maximum number of students through campus by top companies

The ultimate goal of the Karnataka State Rural development and Panchayat Raj University is to prepare entrepreneurial,employable and employment generating graduatesto reduce poverty with focus on sustainable development in ruralIndia. In this regard, the KSRDPRU is undertaking several activities for imparting/improvising the desired skills sets for suitable job profiles. Ultimate goal of the cell is to facilitate students of the University,not only in terms of Job placements in corporate and other industries/service sectors, but also to make them entrepreneurs. It is to uphold the vision of the University so thatthe Karnataka State Rural development and Panchayat Raj Universityemerges as one of the bestUniversities in India.
