The Rural Management specialization trains professionals to effectively plan, strategize, manage, and implement initiatives that enhance India's rural landscape. With increasing interest from multinational companies, government bodies, and top Indian firms in the rural economy, this field offers significant career prospects and growth opportunities. The Earn & Learn MBA program includes internships, project work with reputable rural-focused institutions, industrial and field visits, and interactive sessions with experienced faculty. Graduates can pursue diverse roles in banking, insurance, hospitality, tourism, microfinance, NGOs, agro-based industries, cooperative institutions, and government organizations, or opt for self-employment ventures.
Eligibility Criteria :
A candidate who has passed a Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration or equivalent examination and has obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects including languages in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to the MBA Programme (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category- I of Karnataka Candidates). Admission is through KEA-PGCET and University Entrance Test - if any vacancy or seats exist after the allocation of seats through Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
