The world’s tallest statue of “Vishwa Chetana Swami Vivekananda,” standing at 39.5 feet, has been installed at the University’s ‘Grama Gangotri’ Naagavi Campus, symbolizing the 39.5 years of his life. Inaugurated on September 11, 2024, marking the anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s iconic 1893 speech, the statue is meant to inspire students with his ideals. The bronze statue was provided by the Swami Vivekananda Ramakrishna Mission in Calcutta, with the project guided by Swami Nirbhayanandaji, Dr. H.K. Patil, and Shri D.R. Patil, in collaboration with the public and the University.
