Master of Public Health

About the Programme:

Public Health is an interdisciplinary field and this sector is in critical need of qualified Public health specialists to bridge the gap in between promotion of health and provision of health services. We in KSRDPRU are trying to impart the necessary skills to examine and respond to Public health challenges through the Master of Public Health Programme.

Eligibility:

Any graduate with a 50%(45% for SC/ST/CAT-I/ differently able candidates) of marks in the aggregate of all the subjects is eligible. But preference will be given to those who have experience in the health field.

Career Opportunities: In Government Health Departments, NGO’s, Health Research Centres like ICMR and International Organizations like WHO, UNICEF etc. The various job designations are as below:

•      Epidemiologist

•      District program co-ordinators

•      District health and wellness centre co-ordinators

•      Project assistant

•      Research assistant

•      Project Heads

•      Academicians

•      Pursue PhD
