M.Sc. (FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY)
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME:
• Food Science and Technology closely align with
KSRDPR, University mission to develop competent and skilled professionals and
entrepreneurs for the rural development sector.

The Programme is uniquely designed to develop
the next generation Food Technologist with the theoretical knowledge as
well as technical skills to perform high quality skills while at the same time
being grounded in the institutional development and rural context of contemporary
India.

Enables Food Science and
Technology professionals to advancing the science of food,
ensuring a safe and abundant food supply and contributing to
healthier people.

The programme will help students to develop
skills along with contextual understanding ofrural development issues which are
facing in India.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Any Science(including Farm
Sciences) or Engineering graduate with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC / ST / Cat.
I / Differently Abled (DA) candidates) marks in the aggregate of all the optional
subjects, provided the candidate has studied Chemistry or Biochemistry and one
of the Life Science subjects either at degree level or at PUC (10+2 level) is
eligible.
