About the Program

• Rural Developmentis defined as “Improving the standard of life of the rural people that includes social, economic, political and educational development of the people living in rural areas”.

• The Rural Development and Panchayat Program is a unique and diversified field of study started in the year 2016. The program aims at orienting and educating the students about nuances and intricacies circumventing the living standards and problems of the people livening in rural area and enables them to take initiatives for integrated development of rural areas.

• Employment opportunity in this field is wide. Candidates Specialized in Rural Development and Panchayat Raj will become rural managers. 
• Professionals of this field can apply in the job of Panchayat and village Development officer (VDO&PDO). 
• Rural Development and Panchayat Raj students can also run their own NGOs or can work for a NGO.

Eligibility:

• Any degree from a recognized university a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.
